I recently had a great idea for starting my own discussion board, and wanted to know how id go about setting one up. I can download the software for free from one of the many programs available, but what about hosts and any legal stuff. Also how to make cash from it
How to make cash from it? Is that your only goal w/the board?
(If so, don't get too hyped on it)
What is the intended subject matter of the board, I.E. the focus?

It isn't toally cash orientated, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt to make a little. Me and a m8 were thinking of doing it about drugs. But before you make a judgment, it won't be promoting the use of them or anything and won't be anything to rival this board but will have discussions where people can ask other users of their experiences with types of drugs and the effects.
I feel that the people of the world are so misinformed, especially with all the hype in the media.
But also , non-users can uses the board to kill their curiosity.

C'mon bro ... with all the BS kiddie porn on the internet, i doubt an educational forum on drugs will be all that bad. i think your blowing ChemicalKings' idea way far off base. he wants to make a few extra bucks, give him the advice he needs and let him run with it. only he can make it a successfull one. and if he wants to stay running for years, and provide helpful information like AR, he'll set those mandates from the beginning.Quote:

Well, like I said, it is only in the very earlie stages and don't know when it will be online but I will definitly need mods and that sort of thing I imagine. But il probably leave it until l have a fair sized community and because this is my favorite board will probably post on here to find a couple.
So il keep ya all posted on its progress
