Well my USB hard drive is fried... what should i get
Whats some good brands for hard drives... western digital, seagate, what else? I dont want to get a maxtor again.

i got a WD, i have two WD's, one has Sata which is good, and on another pc i have a normal 7200rpm one but with 8mb cache which helps

i have a firewire / usb combo drive. 250 gb WD.
although lately it's been acting up on me. hopefully it doesn't burn out b/c i need ALL the info on there....

I would highly recommend Seagate. I have 6 of them, and I have never had a problem with them. They also have the best warranty by far. All of their drives come with a 5 year warranty now....
