    D.O.'s can also be surgeons. They can be anything they decide to take residency in.

    Yeah D.O.'s are legit. Same practice rights as MD's. Check some of the student boards if you want to learn more about it.

    go to www.studentdoctor.net then click the forums link on the left and they have a whole bunch of debates and conversation about the D.O. and the MD degree
