    exactly why i started skiing with a helmet this year. Even if you are an advanced skier you can always fall.

    Yea a neighbouring school had their ski trip a couple years ago and a student died.. Scared me so I started skiing with a helmet.. Poor guy

    Funny you should say that... I am not a downhill skier, but my old man is an avid skier and this winter at 60 he started to wear a helmet (my mom too) to ski. They've seen one too many people smack their heads on an icy slope I guess.

    Killing yourself on a slope isn't too bad a way to die (well... you know what I mean...), but I'd hate to smack my head and be turned into a vegetable...
