How long can you hold your breath?
Who can beat one minute? Apparently healthy people should be able to hold it for 50 seconds.

6 years ago I held my breath for 2 minutes 10 seconds. The life guard had to come up and tap me to make sure I was alright. My method was holding my breath as long as it took before my lungs started begging for air, then block the urge for air and count to 60. Now I dont know if I could do 1 minute.

I can't hold them but for about 45 seconds, but my cousin says he use to be able to hold them for about 3 1/2minutes. And your not suppose to be able to do that without blacking out, he use to be in teh marines, and then he did that diving stuff in cali where he lives, and he says he would pass people with scuba gear on, and just wave at them, sounds like that would be fun!
Peace
Alex

Back when i was a professional skin diver in tahiti, and we went for pearls twice a day, i could do a little less than three minutes, while swimming. That was years ago and miles away though, and i'm a completely different person now.
