    for you guys that don't know him he is probably one of the most educated guys when it comes to nutrition and training....ask him some questions....he needs to get his post count up because he is the farthest thing from a newbie....


    for real if any of you guys need diet help this is the guy to talk to....for the past 4 or 5 years he has owned a supplement store here in houston but has recently gone back to law school....he knows his sh*t inside and out

    5'11
    165 pounds
    26 years old

    i'm still on a cutting cycle. I went hardcore the past four weeks, extreme dieting and 30-45 minutes of cardio 3X4 times a week. Kept my protein intake high and took in about 100-150grms of carbs. I kept the fats around 60-80gms mostly coming from omega fats.

    Nice to meet everyone! This board is a wealth of information. Alot of knowledgable people on here. I'm DaddyDbol's training partner by the way.

    Looking shredded bro! Im following a low carb diet right now, hitting cardio 3-4 times a week.. haha although it took a two week break, kinda hurt my ankle! welcome, and feel free to post whore lol

    Ok so i'm going to cut for maybe a few more weeks, then i'm going to go on a clean bulking phase trying to gain about 6-8lbs of lean muscle mass with minimal fat. I'm at a fork in the road, i hear two different things

    1) Some people say I should bump up my carbs to about 250-300gms of complex of course.

    2) Some people say I should not bump up my carbs but instead bump up my good fats (more olive oil, peanuts, fish oils, etc.) to increase calories?

    What are you guys take on this?

    At 165lbs I would think you'd at least want 300 grams of carbs daily for bulking.

    I do well with around 300 g complex carbs on a clean bulk phase.And my metabolism is pretty fast, so fat gain is usually not an issue anyways.
