Anyone thought of working on a cruise ship for the summer?
Just got this idea, and tring to find some info, if I find anything I will let ya know, and if anyone knows anything that might help I would really appreciate it. Thought I would do something fun again, since I worked in yellowstone last year.
Thanks

I wouldnt want to work on a cruise ship, no way in hell. Its a whole different life for the employees bro...or so I've heard, i've never worked on one personally. You could call carnival or whatever and ask for some info.

I would love to be a personal trainer on a cruise ship. Think about it, here you have these hot ladies on vacation, I'm sure not all are there for honeymoons, etc, you'd probably get ass like crazy!!!

thats right, I'd only want to be a trainer on there. Somebody trying to learn something usually isnt as bitchy to you. But then again your dealing with people who probably havent had good sleep all week on those terrible beds in those confined rooms. I'm just thinking that more than likely your going to run across those chicks who have to screw you so they can say it's one more thing/person they did on vacation, it's like a story/fantasy thing. Kind of like a porn, "oh my God, the trainer on the cruise ship ****ed the **** out of me!!" hahahahha

My brother in law worked as a musician on a Carnival cruise ship and enjoyed it... but that was contract work, he wasn't an emlpoyee of the cruise line.
As a contractor they were VERY well treated. His band had their rooms (2 beds per room), were well fed and performed around 8 hours per day, the rest of the time was their own to enjoy the ship.
He told us though that the "employees" of the cruise ship had it differently... they worked 12-15 hours a day, most had to do 2-3 functions in split shifts (for example an aerobics instructor had to also work on the entertainment show in the evening), and they were crammed in nasty tight cabins, 4 per room and in some cases hot-bunked with the night maintenance crew. Very little free time, and when on free time they cannot "roam" the ship.
You may want to seriously study this idea bro... try and find some people who worked for the cruise line you're considering and get their stories. From what my bro in law told me, I'd not want to be an "employee" on a cruise ship.

I just sat next to this chick on a plane who was headed to work on a cruise ship, she'd done it twice before too. From what I got out of the conversation, there are a lot of horny drunk chicks that work on these ships and they love to party. But there are strict rules against hooking up with guests, it'll get you fired. So if you wanna play by the rules, you can only choose among the drunk, horny cruise ship sluts. I don't know...I don't give a sh*t about the rules, do you?
