    Irregular Heart Beat

I had an EKG done a while ago and the doc told me that I have an irregular heart beat. I asked him what it meant and he told me that it means that my heart misses a beat (I'm guessing that is just in my case because I think there are a lot of different types of irregular heart beats)

Anyway, what I was wondering was would this affect my speed as a runner at all?

I have the same thing. It didn't effect me. I still run as little as possilble. Seroiusly, I could run 2 miles in under 12 minutes when I was in the Army.
