I love their first 3 almbums the oldskool stuff was thinkin about seeing them last Monday in Conneticut but didn't end up goin, though I did catch a clip of them onstage playing Shout at the Devil and Vince forget some of the lyrics seems he's missin a few brain cells :p
i am old school and the crue is pretty cool, havent listened to the new cd. they are playing here this month i think. i got tickets to slipknot next month, that doesnt suck. i dont go in the mosh anymore, not because im getting older but because of my size people dont want to slam me and when i slam someone i usually knock them down and then have to help them up
I remember I was at a small punk show in seattle a few years back and the pit was a little hectic, some guy in front of me came flying back at me, so I jumped back and moved my head back so I didnt get caught by his elbow and my head hit something quite hard, so I turn around to look and this chick is laying flatout on the floor KO'd. LOL, it makes me laugh every time I think about it.
I've been into Crue since 86, shout at the devil was the 1st record I ever bought with my own cash, I sholved dog crap for my parents all week to get the money! I tuned out on Feelgood but I love all the rest and the new single is cool.
Right on, one of the best song has got to be 'looks that kill', thats my anthem in the gym.Quote:

has anyone read their book "the dirt"? its unbeleiveable, probably one of the better books I've ever read.
I used to listen to the Motley when too fast for love was out, listened to shout at the devil. Ratt was popular back then, as well as some banner bands... twisted sister, quite riot and such... Then started listening to punk and slayer. I break out anything from guns&roses and old punk and my kids(early teens) believe it is a new band. It is kinda funny telling them that these bands recorded before they were born.
I'm more of an old school Crue fan but the newer stuff is ok. It's just a shame to look at Vince Neil though these days.
Oh yeah, the old stuff is way better than the new stuff, but the new stuff still pumps.Quote:

dude that was one entertaining book. Reading that makes you want to go out and start a band right away. It's amazing those guys are still alive. I'll always have this vision of Ozzy snorting a line of ants next to a pool.Quote:

21 bro, but love the 'hair bands', the music just sucks these days, to me its no even music its just three chords and some sh*tty lead singer, back then it was real music, The Crue, Van Halen, Wasp, The Scorpions, Ozzy, all that sh*t is awsome.Quote:

Actually I'm 39 , I had to throw a sucker punch :wg:
vince neil's voice is too high pitched for my liking.. their new album (from what ive heard) is ok, but his voice ruins it for me.
I'm 35 Bro, we are getting old :DQuote:

The last time I saw them I think I was 8 years old with RaTT. It seems like yesterday but it was over 20 years ago.
Crue is coming to my area this summer...I will check them for nostalgia-sake...lawn tix at the ampitheater are resonable, so why not! It will not be long until one them is a heroin junkie again so I want to see them while they are all semi-alive.
I did I wonder how the hell those guys are still alive, same goes for Aerosmith and Keith Richards I read all those booksQuote:

I saw them on the Shout tour, in Toronto, and they ruled. Tommy Lee was awesome. He was still learning to bounce his sticks off his snare, and he was doing it all night. 3/4 of the time his stick would go flying off somewhere, but once and a while he'd catch one.Quote:

Poison was cool, I saw them a couple summers ago with Skid Row, and Vince Neil. it kicked **S, the best part was that I had the tickets given to me.
