    Best sites for downloading?

    What do you people recommend as the best sites for downloading software and music.I,m running standard V90 56k modem so its not the quickest in the world (I wish I had ADSL!!)

    I like morpheus. you can download software, movie files, and music files. software will be tough to download on a modem. most people probably won't let you download from their machine if it takes too long. and it will take a while if it is a big program.

    Morpheus is good. Kazaa has spyware shit installed with their software. They keep an eye on the shit you do on the internet etc... Morpheus is more safe.

    a lot of people are switching over to kazza cause morpheus is having problems paying bills. Kazza is the way to go. You can find anything on there.

    i use www.grokster.com i get all my movies and music off it, i think its like kazza , real easy to use and has the lastest movies, songs, progs, etc......HITMAN

    I use limewire available at www.limewire.com Good searching options like song, artist, album, genera, year, bit rate...etc.

    They have a free version and a pro version. Only difference is the free one has add banners and some extra crap. It wouldn't surprise me that there is spy ware somewhere on there, most everything has that in there now days.

    Also morpheus went bankrupt or something and there has been modifications made to the application so that the next time you run the program it writes some crap to your registry. I uninstalled it after I heard that.
