Who's going to win tonight?
it's a tough call. if i were a betting man i wouldn't bet on either team because it looks so even to me. i think a lot will depend on if dixon gets in a zone or not. if IU can contain him or he just doesn't have another career game then i think IU will pull it off...

Maryland all the way. Either way hopefully they won't burn college park down after the game.

You guys all have to be kidding except for ScottP. The Terps, Baby!!! IU is gonna get smacked. Who wants to bet some gear on it? It won't even be a game!

IU gonna win i think dixon gonna be contained, its baxter that IU has to worry about.

i'm not too worried about baxter. it's wilcox's shot blocking and dixon's offense that' i'm worried about...

jeffries is over rated IMO. i've followed him all season and he's shown me some flashes of brilliance, but he's not ready for the nba yet. i can't believe davis says jeffries won't be returning next year...

Maryland Indiana

My heart says Indiana and my head says Maryland......
I go with my heart on this one, the Hooisers by 3 to pull the upset.
The over/under is 150 and I think over like 165-170, as Maryland has been averaging about 82 per game.

excuse my ignorance, but do you mean if they go over 150 points? if who goes over 150? maryland? no one has scored even close to 150 points... i don't understand...

yeah, iu definitely couldn't have done it w/o him, but i've just never been too impressed with jeffries' offensive play. i thought kirk hasten, who left IU early would have been a much stronger offensive force for IU this year, but jeffries' defense is very key for IU and much better than hasten would have been this year.

cool thanks.
i can't remember the last time IU allowed more than 80 points to be scored against them... they've won their last 34 games when scoring 75pts or more. they're also 5-0 in national championship games

Dr. Evil, you've obviously bee cryogenically frozen for too long. IU doesn't stand a chance. None.

i just checked...
IU allowed minnesota to score more than 80 points at minnesota and lost. no other opponent has scored more than 75 points on them this year... then again, maryland is rarely held under 70, so this should be interesting...

I am with superbeast. I went to 6 home games for Maryland this year. It is a bitc* to score good tickets, paying multiples of face value for 2nd row foul line seats. I can only imagine if they (when they) win this whole thing how I will be able to get into the new comcast center next year. Maryland does have games when they play poorly (Oklahoma they didn't show up) but I think Dixon is going to will them to win. Look for a Jordan type jump shot performance if he needs to carry the rest of the team.
Poor guy lost both parents to HIV(AIDS), I wish him the best tonight.

Who won?
That's right, The Terps!
Like I said before, it wouldn't even be a game. Maryland played their worst game of the tourney and still won with ease.
I wasn't feeling well yesterday, so I figured I'd gloat today!
