    Russell Crowe got screwed

I rented "Training Day" a couple of weeks ago. Entertaining flick, I didn't have any complaints. I didn't find anything special in Denzel Washington's performance. I mean he plays a black cop with an attitude. Not too challenging for an actor of his caliber. I went to see a "Beautiful Mind" today and all I can say is
RUSSELL GOT SCREWED!!!!!! His portrayal of John Nash was untouchable and I can't believe Denzel got a fucking academy award over him. Something's not right with that shit. OK, this has nothing to do with bodybuilding but I had to bitch at someone. Anybody else seen these two movies.

I cannot stand Russell Crowe, but I agree. Densel did not deserve it. Crowe's performance was truly incredible. I forgot that it was even him, and actually concentrated on the movie which was amazing.

I'm not following you here 9, the last time Crowe won was for "Gladiator" in 2001 and Denzel wasn't nominated that year. Are you referring to when Kevin Spacey won for American Beauty and Denzel lost with the Hurricane?

IMO Denzel didnt win the academy award for Training Day, but for John Q he did the year before. I think they fuked up not giving it to him that year so they gave it to him for Training Day. Which IMHO wasnt a very good movie. I agree with u that Russel Crow was great in A Beautiful Mind!

Oh and Halle Berry deserved an AVN Award not a freaking Oscar.

I think Ethan Hawke perfromace as offier Jake Hoyt was trutly remarkable. That bathrub scene was one of the most scary sequences i've ever seen. He was the best performace in that movie.

Haha that scene is great. I like how the mexican guy straings every muscle in his neck after he says that. Thats one scene I had no clue what was going to happen and I was scared the whole time and had a cold feeling in my stomach out of real concern for the characters
