That means a person(who you apparently know) signed up. Basically you got someone to join the board.

if you referred a friend or a bro from another board to AR.

i think there is a line where that person types ur name in, thus the 1 referral.

You can check your buddy list. Your referrals are usually added to your buddylist making them easy to follow.
