    Difference between blood and urine tests...

    So I found out my employer for the summer is going to give me a blood test before I start... I have at least 6 weeks from now until then and I smoked last weekend. I know it would be out of my system for a urine test, I'm a very very rare smoker (once a month tops) but is there any reason they would use a blood test instead of urine? Does it pick up certain drugs for a longer period of time?

    if you only smoke maybe once a month and you have 6 weeks you'll be fine. just play it safe and don't smoke again until after the test.
