    differential fluids

    i just took my truck and got a full service oil change. they checked my axle/rear diff oil and said it should be changed. my truck is a 2001. is it really time to get it changed? i know sometimes they bs about things like that.

    i change mine every year, esp if i pull my boat and ****.. i say every 30k miles at least. its easy and cheapif you do it yourself

    If you run synthetic you don't have to change it as often, some people say never. Royal Purple is supposed to be one of the best

    yeah i forgot to mention that. if you pull lots of stuff and run synthetic i would change it every 50k its cheap man so why risk it

    um not really, nothing you cant find a sears.. some plates have drain plugs which makes it simple as hell, some dont like my cherokee. i have to unscrew the plate, change the fluid and use some gasket crap and screw the plate back on. search onthe internet there is plenty of info on how to do it and what to use.

    I would Change it at least every 50,000 miles. I like Redline Synthetic. You can get a good deal on it at http://www.morethantires.com/Redline_Oil.html
