You cant move around much for a few days after. And your face will be swollen.
It's not too bad.

Just did mine last year bro...it wasnt bad at all. Vacation for a week...I was lucky enough to walk in the door after surgery and make eggs, no problem eating at all. Take it easy and don't try and do too much too fast, it will only slow down recovery.

my first two were the worst. The dentist had to drill away parts of my molars to get the wisdom teeth out. I was awake and could literally see pieces of tooth/gum/and blood flying out as he was drilling. the next two days were just plain AWFUL. my other two came out easily w no problem, and i went out that same night. good luck

mine went easy enough. Two things I can think of:
1)If they offer you a local or general...take the general. That way you just go to sleep and when you wake up it's done.
2)If you get sick from codine (sp) then make sure they don't prescribe any for you. I get really sick on that stuff, took it to ease the pain the next day, threw up, broke open the stickes in my mouth. Bad news.

i had mine removed a few years ago, they were all impacted.
Afterwards my right cheek would always get stuck on something sharp along my gumline. I went back to have it looked at, they told me it was the uneven jaw bone and the skin was stretched tightly over it making it feel like it had punctured the skin when really it hadnt. They told me that it would round itself down eventually.
Well it wasnt getting any better.... so one day I pulled it out. It wasnt my jaw, it was a tooth fragment... stupid doctor
Recovery was a breeze though, theres really nothing to worry about. Like symatech said, be careful with the codeine.

Get Vicoprofen for pain......like Vicodin but ibuprofen instead of tylenol......better pain relief.
