    good book?

Ive gotten in the habit of reading while Im doing my cardio. I just finished the da vinci code. Although i thought the majority of this book was good i thought the ending sucked balls...

What are some good books you guys have read?

'k i'll try to find the amazon pages.

one good writer for passing time is bret easton ellis- he wrote "american psycho" "less than zero" "rules of attraction" among others. dude is totally hilarious and irreverent and very easy to read.

trainspotting is tight as a 12-year-old if you can get past the dialect- alot of people can't. i love most of welsh's books. marabou stork nightmares i would say is his second best.

chuck palahniuk is a real badass (fight club) you may want to check out his stranger than fiction it's this collection of strange but true events as collected via journalism i believe (haven't read it).

if you want something a bit meatier i would suggest pynchon, my personal fav. most people agree the crying of lot 49 is the best one to read first bcuz it's alot shorter. v's a little inconsistent but the bright spots are blinding. and then his masterwork is gravity's rainbow, imho the greatest novel written.
