How much do you pay for a haircut?

Just curious . . . I've seen prices here in the Dallas area ranging from $5.99 (specials at Great Clips) to $15 at barber shops, and then from $26 at upscale barbershops to $40 plus tips at fancy salons.
What do y'all pay?

$17, I used to get hooked up with a wicked fade for $7, but the cutters could speak english and I got fed up, plus I wanted to go to a salon that had some tighties working there.

i do it myself, all the way, use to have problems getting the back but since then my skills have gotten way better

my cut is 12$ and i give 25 with the tip... i get the illest fade in teh nyc. my barber is really one of the best out there... a cut should be between 10-15 dollars... but if you like your fade, with the points and back right you should give liek a 8-12 dollar tip.

plus i get my bid(beard ) done as well included in my cut.

Nothing most of the time... I use my clipper with a #1 guard... makes it simple.

Occasionally I go to the corner barber and let him do it so thats $15 ($10 for the cut, $5 tip). He does a nice job on the back of my neck with his straight razor.

I pay 7 dollars for a taper up and 15 dollars for a taper up including haircut(so 8 for the cut) I'm the only white boy in the black barber shop I go to, but they do such a good job!! They have all been cutting hair awhile, I just got so fed up with these great clips places where they pull these bitches straight out of cosmetology school, where obviously they didnt learn too much, cause they sure ****ed my head up enough.
