If you could own any 5 CURRENT production cars?
What would they be?
1. Subaru Impreza WRX STI (in Platinum Silver Metallic) for when I wanna go stupid fast.
2. Lexus GX470 4x4 for when I go camping.
3. Lotus Elise although I'm not sure if I'd even fit in it.
4. Subaru Impreza WRX Sport Wagon (Crystal Grey Metallic) for a daily driver.
5. Acura TL for the wife.

Definitely the SPYKER... the crazy convertible one with the quilted leather interior and the gills. It's one of the baddest, and quite possibly the most beautiful car ever made, and no one seems to know about it.
The new Ford GT.
The extra long Maybach.
Bugatti Veyron
Jag XKR

it was a hard choice but this is what I would put in my garage
ENZO
Lamborghini Diablo VTTT
McLaren F1
Saleen S7
Pagani Zonda C12 S
I'm a pure Venom Viper guy too or a Lingenfelter corvette lover and I do love the Mercedes SLR, saw one a few weeks ago, The Maybach is wicked, the Vanquish is purely lovely...
but, the pricey exotics are insane and the speed demon always seems to win

If I was gonna haul heavy, I'd get a dually. They make 1 ton singles. But the stability you get from duals makes it worth it. Trust me.
I've driven duallys for work. Loaded down with 4 five gallon containers holding oil or water, 1/3 cut off of a 55 gallon drum filled with water, 3 or four 50lb sacks of kitty litter, a broom, a flat shovel, a 20 gallon-5hp air compressor, loading crane and a whole bunch of spare parts. Only two things I woulda changed.
I woulda wanted a turbocharged, intercooled diesel, with a Jake brake, and a six speed manual with a deep reduction 1st and a 0.70:1 6th. Of course that trans would need a twin plate clutch for proper holding power.
Still, with the wimpy 350cid gasoline engine and the 700R4 slushbox it came with, it did alright. But pushing coaches, it was tough, especially up hills. Going around corners at high speed she never squeeled the tires and never to much body roll.

Pierce makes nice trucks. Is there one called OshKosh? This dude at work was telling me about some truck that is for heavy duty all terain stuff like that Pierce. Said you drive it from the centre. That the "wheel" looks like a u shape and only turns 90º either way from center to give you lock-to-lock. Says it'll climb just about any mountain. If I can remember, I'll ask him about it tomorrow and post some links to pics if I can find any.
