    Another way to avoid adware/spyware is staying off of the porn sites.....or so I've been told.

    Spysweeper works good (www.spysweeper.com), but it's only free for a trial period. Spybot works good too.

    www.systemmechanic.com it's a free trial. You can get a legit copy from Wal-Mart, and those type of stores.It does more then just adware/spyware..

    It works good. It doesn't seem to pick up the "tracking cookies" that ad-aware does, but it often picks up programs that the others can't find.

    I use AdWare. I had a deep cookie that would take over my browser and SpyBot couldn't find it. AdWare got itthe 1st try. I'm hooked. I also use Norton Web Cleanup to finish.
