I'm always listening to the iPod and it's always rock...old or new, I mix it up. It seems like every time I take the headphones off at my gym, like clockwork, some Sammy Hagar era VH tune comes on and drives me nuts. So then, I put the phones back on and crank some classic Van Halen.

Dn't listen to anything.... I'm kinda in my own world and space out. I actually spend my time in the gym thinking about things that and just focusing my mind on making my muscles grow.... sounds weird but it works for me.

I don't know why but I'd prefer no music to lift. My gym as always some going on tho. Rap, Pop Rock or Techno stuff.
If I had to choose tho it would be rap. Hardcore sh*t like Onyx, M.O.P, Mobb Deep, Cormega... All the east coast stuff. Some west coast too but not that mellow sh*t.

Oh Dude, I could go on and on.
First off, Panama is my all time favorite VH tune. Since you asked, here are some other killer VH tunes that'll keep you going,
Runnin' With the Devil
You Really Got Me
Ain't Talkin Bout Love
You're No Good
Beautiful Girls
And The Cradle Will Rock
Everybody Want's Some
Mean Street
Unchained
Hot For Teacher
I'll Wait
Drop Dead Legs
House Of Pain
Really, you can't go wrong with any of their first 6 albums. "Diver Down" is a lot of cover tunes, but still awesome. Of course, after 1984 the band ceased to exist in any form worth mentioning, but Dave has kept the spirit alive and I highly recommed 1997's DLR Band. I hope that helps you and if you require any further information on the glory days, then I recommend rotharmy.com as they have it all laid out for you.
