Music software
Hi good people. I have got a friend that is big in making his own music. (At least he thinks so) Now, where can I go to find him some nice stuff? He‘s got soft concert and cake walk9. What else will captivate his imagination

well any programs that utilize the gnutella network are capable of downloading the above (such as iMesh, bearshare, ...). i like bittorrent. here are two very good search engines for torrents : http://torrentsearch.com/ and http://www.torrentspy.com/latest.asp . you must ofcourse have bittorrent installed on your computer first, go here if you do not have it http://www.bittornado.com/ . lastly, most programs will be the retail version (as in no serial, patch needed) or will have a patch/serial included. if not, find all your patches and serials here: http://www.astalavista.com/ . but be careful when downloading patches from certain sites, they will tell you to install some other sh!t that you dont need (damn spyware), just keep pressing cancel or no if they ask you and finally u will get the proper patch. if you have trouble pm me and i'll get it for you.

on download.com they have a trial version of sound forge 7.0, u can crack it to be the full version (http://www.download.com/Sound-Forge/...ml?tag=lst-0-1). but why get 7.0 when u can get 8.0

Cubase sx 2.0 & above
Definitely one of the nicest programs for making beats. the plug ins you can get for it are bar none.
