    1. it's .9 miles from my place (of course this was by design)
    2. good variety of equipment although not the newest or best quality
    3. a lot of hardcore training going on
    4. normally no wait for equipment...(although this is probably due to the time I go)
    4. free tanning for "certain" people
    5 . the db's go up to 200 pounds
    What happens here, stays here

Primodonna, if you're using anything close to 200 lbs dumbs I'm afraid of you...let me just say that. Secondly, I want to train with you, cause I need to be humiliated occasionally.

I don't have a lot of functional strength right now

I do one arm DB rows and DB incline presses with 70s

But i can only do maybe 2 pull-ups unassisted. Hopefully i won't be hanging from a cliff one day and have to pull myself up to save my life

Yeah, but you can throw the boulders off you if you're ever in an avalanche! I don't think I've ever seen that kind of strength in a woman. Good for you!

I like the fact that when I say in my polite voice and I mean this I'm polite, "have you finished with that machine?" I haven't heard the word "no" once. Now how good is that!

Whenever I visit another gym I'll just nicely say, "mind if I work in" and usually they just say sure I'm done anyway. Most serious lifters don't rest a whole bunch I've found

a DJ, takes requests from the houde phones through out the gym
all the latest hammer strength, and every variety there of

they have got those $20 G treadmills, the ones that you can free wheel on
    a smoothie bar
    hot babes that work there
    big natural guys
    big unatural guys

Do you guys go to lift, or to live up the amentities?! If i had all what you have, I'd probably just sit around with a smoothie and watch TV on your satelite while I get slopped around by a hot "unnatural girl" in a mud bath, as I shout to the DJ play some 2pac under the strobe lights!!! Just kidding.

The only reason I picked my gym, is because it's a hardcore gym where people go into workout, not socialize. I have 3 other gyms closer to me, but I pass them all on my way and laugh at those fools going in to work the arm bands. . Nah, they can do whatever they want, don't bother me one bit! That is the only reason I lift there, the equipment is sub par, nothing is new, lockers don't even work. But hey, if it gots Iron, count me in.

The music is what I WANT to listen to
I never ever weight for equipment
I can "break wind" as much as I like without people complaining
It is very close and open 24/7

Oh yeah I train at home
