About 60-70% of the time I click on a link that has a video, my computer totally freezes up, and I have to turn it off, then back on again to restart. I was told it might be my pop-up blocker, so I turned that off, but it didn't work.

well a pop-up blocker wouldnt freeze your computer. first thing, turn off your antivirus/firewall and click on a site's video link THAT YOU TRUST. some site you know is legit. and only for a sec. see if it works. as soon as you know it does or does not, turn them back on. this will tell you if its those progs causing problems. post yes or no here.
