IMO, Cassidy was just another black kid from the ghetto who strived to be a rapper, not a gangsta.... but once you make it, there is so much pressure on being gangsta, so he starts carrying around a gun and acting more and more some fake part... and eventually loses all grasp of real reality and accidently kills someone... Now his life dream to be a successful rapper is over and he will never enjoy the money and fame he already attained...
