"After bite" works wonders for my kid...

If we don't put any on he'll tear thru his skin scratching the bites... a little dab of it and he's fine and for some reason they heal a LOT faster too (even the ones he can't reach to scratch).

Afterbite is nothing more than diluted amonia btw...

I have blood that mosquitos love. If I am in a room w 10 people, they'll bite me exclusively. Whenever I get a mosquito bite, I press down w/ my nail on it (two times), to form an X. Don't ask me why, but the ithching usually goes away.

benadryl works great. oh and money, scrap the flame water gun idea. tried it when i was a kid. first with kerosene then, the big mistake, gasoline. lets just say the lord was with me on that day. what a fvckin mistake that was!

If you can't find the "After-Bite", my next recommendation would be otc 1% hydrocortisone (Cortaid or Cortizone-10) cream.

....."After Bite" is indeed excellent - use plain ol' vinegar if you dont have AB. We used to wait until a mosquito would bite us then we would pinch the skin around its proboscis so it couldnt get out - it would fill up and up with blood until....POP! Funny, but you ended up with a hell of a bite!
