what news station was it?
theyre just giving out new ideas for people to do them......
Honestly, I highly doubt that the infromation they are projecting on the news is accurate. Medically speaking, I have been stuck about 5 times with a known infected (HIV) needle. All literature states that about .2% of all needle sticks by a known carrier transmits the disease, as the virus is very very fragile. I have heard of people leaving dirty needles in pay phone change areas, however, the risk of infection is very very minute. The last literature states the bigger risk is hepatitis C which is about a 10-15% risk however, even that can't live forever when exposed to air.

it happened in florida, apparently
Check what sym posted earlier, that claim of "falsity" seems to make sense. I feel like its the news/media playing and trying to scare people. Let me put it like this, people in hospitals get stuck all the time, and last year out of all the hospitals something like 30 people got AIDS, this is nation-wide keep in mind. Its very very hard to contract...the story just makes little sense.Originally Posted by O.T

I don't believe this story. Sorry.
was going to say the same thing!! everything i've heard, even at generous estimates is 0.3% chance of infection from a known HIV needle stick.Originally Posted by HeartDocMD
and this story goes around every couple years...you should always be careful in life...but i wouldn't worry too much.
This is an old trick..people who are trying to boycot gas companies tell everyone to avoid certain spots that sell gas..main goal is to screw gas companies and force them to bring prices down
it would still hurt like a m@#her fu@#er to git pinched by a needle on you palm, ouch.
most gas stations have cameras covering the pumps, just see which muther ****ker did it and hang the son of a bitch
Bro that story is about ten years old.
The HIV virus is pretty fragile, and it can't live any more than 30 minutes outside the body.
That's an old story anyway . . . nothing to it . . .
Another old story that's still in circulation is that Madelyn Murray O'Hair is trying to get the FCC to ban religion on TV and radio, even though she died over 10 years ago. The story never was true, but it got so that for several decades, the FCC paid 30 people to do nothing all day long but answer mail that it got from church goers gullible enough to beleive that nonsense.
Ya, you've been had . . .

i've heard similar things about people leaving hiv positive gays in toilets and they buttrape you when you sit down to take a crap. so far they've found 14 gays in toilets with 9 people infected from it.
Is this one of those Florida or Germany questions? LOLOriginally Posted by O.T
