    Hearing Aid Help!!

    Fellas,

My mother has very bad hearing in both her ears. She recently went to Sears and got a Miracle Ear hearing aid but got VERY POOR service, its a long story. So if you could please let me know of any other high quality hearing aid companies or brands it would be much appreciated!!!

    Thanks guys!
    BB

most top quality hearing aids are pretty pricey...like upwards of $5k or so.....my advice is have her see a specialist and hope you have good insurance

Sorry for bumping this super old thread, but I'm in the same boat right now. My Mom needs hearing aids. Her insurance doesn't cover them. All devices I found cost more than $2k. Can anyone help me? Is there a way to buy them cheaper? Or is it the case when cheaper means worse and is not worth it?

Forgiven on the 17 year old bump, congratulations on setting a new world record in forum history

Call some local audiologists and see what Medicare covers…
Shop around, they’re like dentists. Good ones and bad ones but they know how to cleverly bill the government. I’m sure there’s a patient assistance program as well. If you’re in a state where they can bill “Medi/Medi” even better. Medicaid and Medicare

Does anybody knows anything about Audious? Maybe someone ever had their hearing aid? Are they worth their price? I've found the audious reviews at https://audious.pissedconsumer.com/review.html, but they are all different. Want to hear someone's personal experience.
