    More talent...in the music biz thats subjective, although I agree with you. He can write some hits for sure, plus play every instrument.

    Plus hes' not hooked on heroin!

    How can you say that when Kurt Cobain died over 10 years ago. Imagine if he was still alive the things he could have accomplished and songs he could have added to the already awesome music collection of Nirvana.     *Musicians Opinion* Dave Grohl is a GREAT drummer, he was amazing in Nirvana. Foo Fighters are no where near the status of Nirvana, plain and simple. Kobain was a true artist. Revolutionary. Dave Grohl is talented. But anyone can learn a few chords on the guitar (Foo Fighters songs are easy). Kobain was so much better a writer than Grohl.

    I agree with you Tiger. Don't get me wrong, his skills on drums are amazing, but Cobain had more talent as far as singing and the music he wrote. To me his songs had more substance.

    Kurt Cobain was Nirvana. He wrote the music and the other guys were along for the ride. Nirvana defined a generation. Critics consider Nirvana historically significant. Can that every be said about Grohl. No way. It's a no-brainer.
