    Jean-Claude Van Damme had indeed had a kick-boxing career, which turned out to be very successful on the European scene. He fought under his birth name of Jean-Claude Vandenberg. Fighting as a middleweight he captured a version of the European Middleweight Kickboxing Championship in 1980 with a first round knockout which was recorded in less than a minute. His career however, lasted only a few years as his interest lay in a film career. Jean-Claude's record was 12-1 with 12 knockouts.

    That makes it tougher. I guess it depends on if Van Damme could stay sober for the fight.

    Arsenio hall tried to set up a match, but Van damme declined, I believe.
    Anyway, both are bad asses, so I don't know who I'd choose. Pretty sure Segal was trained by a Korean master (his first wife's father), and Van Damme is impressive as well.

    segal was an akido grand master in asia, and i beleive the only white guy ever to do so and teach at that level in the orient. van damn would get his shit stompped.
