fuel prices...making cuts
i have to cut expenses, with the price of fuel now a days...will only be able to get to the gym for sure 10 days a month. thats when i get off work, i go to the gym then home. its about 35 miles round trip to get to work and my gym. i worked out at home today, but my weights are in my shop with no ac, freaken sweated my balls off. i need to economize......last month i spent 350 bucks on fuel.......and my medical premiums will double in november.....and my raise wont even cover it, if that is we get one....anyone else feeling the pinch over these high gas prices?

At $1.13 per litre (thats over $4.50 per gallon) I'm cycling to work a lot these days... hey free cardio!
I've also cut out the sunday afternoon car rides in the country... and am keepin my speed around the "optimal" 60 on the highways.

Here in Australia it's up over $1.20 a litre now, lucky I don't have a car right now, I wonder when it will stop going up.... maybe $2 a litre, $2.50... maybe time for one of those hybrid cars.

It's all a ploy to make you buy hybrid cars. Freaking Al Gore is the man responsible for the high gas prices. I am going to buy some old beater motorcycle for the time being, maybe restore another triumph.

There is so much "gas and dash" going on now that the big chains want to institute a "Pay first" policy.

Though I miss my Bronco (and I mean I REALLY miss it a lot!), I smile every time I gas up my little shitbox chevy Cavalier....
A Cavalier is about as small as I am willing to go to save gas.

I saw on a web site that everyone in the nation is going to try and not buy any gas or gas product the first full week of Oct. If we could spread this around the companies would lose billions a day. and maybe give us the upper hand in the price gouging
