My bud dated this girl, they were engaged for a while. I was the one that intro'd them years ago and originally I wwas going for her but got sidetracked by her best friend. So they dated for about 1.5 years and got engaged... All the while he was a bit of an ass, and always flirting with girls, and while they were engaged he would make out with other girls etc.. They broke it off, about a year ago.. Lately I feel us getting close.. Anything wrong if I take it to the next level?

Yes. No dating your friend's sister(s), or serious ex-girlfriends. Just way too akward on both counts. Now, if he isn't really a good friend or one you care about then go ahead. Of course, it doesn't really matter what I or anyone else says, ultimately it's gonna be about what you think you should do.

Love for your friend and love for a lover are two different things, but both are important and it hurts to lose either one. More than likely, if your friend is truly a friend, he will be able to let go, and still be friends to both of you and give you his blessing to pursue the girl of your dreams.
