    Eta Carinae

This is a muther****ing cool star. 150 times as massive as the sun and one of the biggest stars we have ever found. 4 million times as luminous as the sun. its around 10 000 lightyears away and hugely instable.

Within 100 000 years it will have blown up and I sure as hell hope it will happen within our lifetime. Will be one hell of a show, even visible in daylight.

Wont hurt anyone thought. Might knock out alot of satelites

also this ****er going supernova will be a very rare event since super massive stars like that are extremely rare. It would easily outshine our entire galaxy.

to give a better perspective. In the 19th century this star had a gigant eruption and during that eruption it blew off more energy than the sun produces in 200 million years.

The result is the nebula sourouding the star. The matter in the nebula is enough to make a star the size of our sun.

    Enough boring facts now
