im going for texas and im headed to 6th st, in about 1hr, to get lubed up for kick off
It's way too hard to call.
They've basicly never played, and both teams are shaky even at their best.
The fact that it is in The Shoe may be a big factor.
well im a huge tx fan myself..just wasnt smart enuf to get it (just like 90% of everyone else)

I must say, Im a very depressed buckeye alumni today. I think our players played a great game, but cannot say the same for the coaching. My hat goes off to Texas, they hung in there and pulled one out. Great weekend for college football to say the least....

Cal, ASU, UCLA, Notre Dame, and Oregon, also a Hawaii team that was "supposed"to be pretty good this year. This is the argument everyone gives every year for the Pac 10. Like last year when USC barely beat VT in the first game and everyone said they were overrated. Turns out VT was a top 10 team and the Trojans went on to blow out an Oklahoma team that was supposed to beat them......Strength of schedule all goes out the door in the championship game.Originally Posted by chest6

I'll agree with that last statement. What if LSU played someone like an Ohio State..or a Texas A&M..OU...Tech..one of those. Maybe it would be more fair then, because they have more of a chance of losing and proving to be a better team. By cruising through an easy schedule..they only have one team to gear up for at the championship. Say Texas loses one of their games..they will prolly move back depending if there is another unbeaten team or not..kinna shitty if u ask me.Originally Posted by JDawg1536
Yeah thats true, but its rare for the top team to have an easy schedule. Even though I still disagree that USC has an "easy" schedule (ASU handed over the game to #5 LSU, and ND beat #3 Michigan) I do agree its not the toughest around. You have to make an exception in this case, because USC is just plain stacked. I dont see them losing this year, whether they played the top 15 teams week after week or played the worst 15, unless they sustain some serious injuries. Normally when you play a team you prey on their weaknesses. WTF is your game plan against USC?Originally Posted by chest6
vince young can run/pass on anyone...he proved that this week. Couldn't run...so he threw.
first things first, lets kick the crap out of OU in a couple weeks first!!! Rose Bowl isnt til Jan. Lot of things can happen between now and then
Yes Chest6, I think Vince can silence some of his critics who say he cant pass, he showed he could pass against the buckeyes
Beating OU would make everyone go insane..i think i got tickets to that game actuallyOriginally Posted by longhorn814
losing to OU would make everyone go insane....they are horrible. Vince is a stud, one of the top 5 IMO.Originally Posted by chest6
