I dig the Queens of the Stone Age. Since Dave Ghrol played with them, my first thought is Foo Fighters. Also Tenacious D (though a bit comical), but in the end I am a faithful servent of "The D" (it's kinda like a cult, but with cookies!)

"Stonerrock" is how you call the style of music "Queens of The Stone Age" are playing.

"Kyuss", "The Hellacopters" and "El Caco" would be related bands but there are many many more ...
