with as cheap as computers are now....you should just buy a new one. Get the other fixed and keep it as a back up.

That sucks to hear that. Hope you get it up and running soon. Computers are getting pretty cheap, maybe not for the real high end ones but....do you need something on the bleeding edge anyway? Pick one up for a few hundred and it will do everything you need...just be careful about what you do online and what you download and install....90% of the problems I fix for people are related to not being careful while online, usually ends up being spyware related oh, and the occasional virus from the clip someone thought was porn. hey guys thax for the concern i just got my new laptop 4 days ago it cost me $3000 its a Toshiba with a shit load of options, i use it for downloading a heap of music and burning dvds as well so i didnt want to just pick up anything.
ive been using my parents cpu and an internet cafe but im all set now im just waiting to get rid of this dial up connection and install my broadband.
