Anyone ever hear about a program that pays you about $1000 a week to be trained to get an ever better job that pays you even more?

It's something like a trade school... Anyone ever heard of it? I would really like to know more info about something like this or anything close or related to it...

I'm looking at this as a replacement for college so as many can tell this is very importent...I can use all the help I get,
