Any sprinters in the house
I have a question for track guys. Does anyone know what guys like Donovan Bailey, Ben Johnson, or Micheal Johnson ran in the 40? Some of these times the NFL claims are crazy. Donte Stalworth was clocked at a 4.1 by one scout. That has to be olympic speed.

Well that would explain the times. How much do you weight 9natural9? 4.5 is moving for a fullback.

Have you ever given hints as to where you play? At least give the conference.

here is some info from Sports Speed by Dintiman, Ward, and Tellez.
average 40 time
Olympic Sprinters...4.1
College Wide Receiver..5.7
College Running Back...6.5
I realize that the WR and RB times seems awfully high, but keep in mind all the Div II and Div III practice squad players out there. Sprinters also train correctly for speed, while I rarely see any other sports doing the plyos and overspeed training.

i run track, and i have trained with donte stallworth, those football 40's are way off what people can actually do, i run track in college and i run a 4.35, as jeffylyte said, sprinters train for speed, football players dont really do that, they train for quickness, which isnt always up to 40 yards.
