here in the town i live, we were having fire boxes pulled just about every weekend ( 2 or3 am) at the college dorms........this is how i stopped it. made everyone get out side and take about an hour to walk threw all the rooms......had to do this twice........no more station pulls at the dorm

the fire alarm in my old building would go off randomly about once every other week.

it was boston, in january...at 3am. we stopped going outside. my roommate and i would walk out of our room...say whats up, look out the windows...feel the walls and walk back into our respective rooms without saying anything else.

we always figured one day we'd be burned alive...but we no longer live there and all is well

haha...yea, we went the first couple times too.

after awhile we just stopped. his girl came to town and when she heard the alarm she freaked out -- made us all go downstairs (6 floors) to sit out in the snow until the fire dept came and shut it off.

last year our floor had a big kegger and I had this water gun and I was spraying people. Well I ended up spraying the smoke detector that if water gets into them they alarm goes off well in short lucky no one got busted for underages but we all had a good laugh. Then this year they put these plastic covers over the alarms switches, well I guessif you lift the plastic they go off so of course I didn't know that so I ran like hell.

at least you didnt get woken up with a subwoofer turned all the way up and roomates knocking on your door drunk at 7am (i went to bed at 3, so i was right in the middle of my sleep)

they're kinda pissed at me cuz i absolutely flipped out, but too bad

haha holy shit. dude, I had the same exact thing at the same exact time happen to me exactly 1 year ago. I think you made this post today, which meant 4 /5 :00 (time change) in the morning on saturday.

wow, last year, at 4/5 :00, (time change, same day as for you) some asshole pulled the alarm too. holy crap

the only thing i can think of worse of being awoken by a fire alarm

is being on shift and having to respond to a BS fire alarm call at 4 am.

how about being on shift and having to respond to a bs fire alarm call at 4 am, in the cold rain, after a working fire that day and after multiple bs medical calls throughout the shift, and having to work part time the next day..........thats the life of a fireman... sucks sometimes

lol ya, i was asleep probably for 2 hours. and every room has an alarm, and its so so so loud. I was flicking like every switch i could find in my room from lights to computer to stereo, just could nt figure out what was goin on lol

and on another occasion where a fire alarm got pulled on a school night at about 330 in the morning, i absolutely refused to get out of bed. the ra s came in our room and said "OUT...NOW!". me and my room mate simultaneously kind of sat up, shook our heads no, slammed back down, and pulled the covers over our heads and went back to sleep. They couldnt have moved my ass with a forklift at that point. they left, and we never got in trouble
