if something requires an email addy - use [email protected] - anyname being anything you want to make up. then just go to www.mailinator.com and use that "anyname" to login.

www.free6.com is a good one too. However, I would block your cookies and put up something like ghostsurf to protect from all kinds of sh*t.

As for sending your email, just make up a quick account on hotmail and use that. This way you don't have to worry about spam.
