Who has a pimped out rig?
I have an Athlon64 3700+ 2.2Ghz (overclocked to 2.6Ghz) on an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe with an Asus 6800GT 256MB DDR3 PCI-E video card. A 10,000 RPM/8MB buffer Western Digital Hard Drive for the operating system - and a Western Digital Caviar 7,200 RPM/16MB buffer for storage. Using OCZ Dual Channel Platimun 3200 Low Latency RAM (overclocked to DDR472).
According to SiSoft Sandra, my CPU Arithmitic has the processor holding up aganist an Intel Pentium 4-E 3.8 Ghz w/1MB L2 (and the Intel P4 costs about 3 times the price)... out performing it in the Dhrystone but not the Whetstone. It's running circles around the Intel Pentium 4-E 3Ghz w/1MB L2...
CPU Arithmitic
Pentium 4-E 3.8 Ghz w/1MB L2: 11134 MIPS, 7901 MFLOPS (costs about 3 times the price of my CPU)
Pentium 4-E 3.4 Ghz w/1MB L2: 9962 MIPS, 7070 MFLOPS
Pentium 4-E 3 Ghz w/1MB L2: 8066 MIPS, 3701 MFLOPS
Pentium 4-E 2.66 Ghz w/512k L2: 6582 MIPS, 3576 MFLOPS (my old system

Intel sucks! )
My system: 11536 MIPS, 5215 MFLOPS
SiSoft Sandra shows my Memory Bandwith is obviousy doing well... outperforming an Intel 995X 2XPC5300 CL5 DDR2.
Memory Bandwith
Intel 995X 2XPC2-5300 CL5 DDR2: 5091 MB/s
Intel 945P 2XPC2-5300 CL5 DDR2: 4954 MB/s
Intel 915G 2XPC2-3200 CL3 DDR2: 4672 MB/s
Intel 845PE 2XPC-3500 CL2 DDR: 3307 MB/s
My system: 6630MB/s
I am still tinkering with it a bit - it passed all my stability and CPU/Memory torture testing except a few quirks in MemTest86 I need to work out... but needless to say, AMD runs circles around Intel... even their mid-range CPU's
BTW - got the two LED's working on the front door - I had my RESET LED plug in backwards...
