Playstation 3 vs. XBox 360

I need to figure out which one to buy when they come out... and I'm sure some of you will want to know what others think of each system as well. It's a very hard choice because I personally don't like Microsoft and the asians have always been leaders in producing high quality electronics... but then again, I've read that the XBox 360 has more power in respect to graphics, memory, etc.

So what do you guys think? What would/will you buy when they come out?

However xbox 360 is coming out this season(already sold out everywhere) and ps3 next year. I havent even been that into video games lately but i like to have the latest shit.

xbox 360 sucks compared to the ps3 for many reasons. you can google this poll and get a better idea.
Also how its this for a kicker. You cant play a dvd on the 360 without buying MORE shit.

You've read wrong. Hardware wise, PS3 is superior. Their Blu-ray technology is the next big thing, 25-50GB per disc!

Thing about it is XBox 360 comes out in 2 weeks, PS3 will probably be this time next year.

The comparison on IGN shows XBox 360 being superior with graphics, and how fast its processors are. The blu-ray tachnology allows each disc to hold up to 54GB whereas the XBox's dual layer DVD (or some shit like that) hold only 9GB.

I myself am a PS3 guy just because its made by a better company (I think) and usually there are better and more games for it... but for some reason the 360 seems like its winning the race. I'm tempted to buy both too... just dont have the money.

Not that I don't believe you but, do you have a link to this article? Everything I read gives the edge to the PS3 and I check IGN quite a bit.

its only because microsoft deliberatly didnt produce enough for the initial release last friday. Sony did the same thing with the release of the PS2, except they just didnt expect the demand. Microsoft did it for the x-mas shoppers. I paid $400 for my PS2 during the time it was out of stock but i also got a bunch of extra shit with it.

Anyway Playstation is and always has been the best. Sony gets my vote hands down.

Playstation 3 all the way. I have always preferred the Playstation over the Xbox. Always seems to have a better selection of games and i feel its coming from a company that makes better game consoles.
