    use F-secure antivirus, its much better than norton and it uses less memory

    Once Nortons detects this 'intruder' I can't do anything else and have to reboot the computer to get back to AR.com again. Its not happening on all threads either!.

    I didn't understand what you meant by the bolded statement. If you explain a bit I may be able to help you. Also, I'm assuming you are using Windows (not Unix/Linux), right?
