We'll see. The PS3's Cell chip and Blu-Ray technology are way ahead of what MS is doing with the 360. The PS3 is technology built to last.

From what I've read. You must own a HDTV for 360 to be worth anything. Not a problem since I do, but not everyone does. I'm also a big Xbox guy, but I'm gonna wait, b/c PS3 has 2x the processing Speed, Blu-ray DVD technology and options for 7 wireless controllers.
Sony can compete against anyone they have a much longer history in this industry and they also have 3/4 of the entire market share. Xbox 360 will dent that a bit, primarily b/c of its choice of release date.

Plus, by 2009 all TVs will be at least HD(digital signal). Their actually passing a law on it. Obviously the better TV you have the better the graphics will look, Sony's new SXRD TVs are SWEET!

The Playstation always seems to have better games IMO. The Xbox360 looks good but i think i will stick with the PS3.

Its true. Both the 360 and PS3 are made for HDTVs. They will still work on a standard tv but not look nearly as good.If this is true then I am doomed

I live on 950$/month and 500$ goes straight to rent. With the rest I have to afford food(food prices in sweden are among the highest in the world), gym, books for university, bussrides to my girl(she lives around 380kilometers away), phone bill, cellular phone bill, supplements ect.

There was a BestBuy in NYC that opened at midnight, I went there at 11:50 the line was closed, because it was to full. There was police there, with riot gear.
And I went to a WalMart and there was a line at 6pm of 40 people. Even though the XBox went on sale the next day in the morning.
No Xbox for me, I have to wait.

Local radio station here in DC has been in love with that Xbox 360 commercial with the big waterballoon fight so they sent a couple of their morning crew out and threw water balloons at people waiting in line for an Xbox. lol
