Pre-Nup Before Getting Married
Has anyone requested that their future spouse sign a pre-nup? Or were you asked to sign one? What is the process of getting a pre-nup take? Thanks!

if you don't trust the pussy.. why are you buying the pussy??
jk
not really though... a prenup will protect assets that are your's alone before the marriage..
the main reason then becomes, you want to protect your future earnings from her.. for in most states she gets 1/2 of everything that was earned during..
the prenup can have a clause in it that says exactly how much she will recieve in alimony, child support..The answer to your every question

Get ONE no questions ask if you have anything to lose!!
You can get one cheap at
www.legalzoom.com I get a lot of work done with them and it is easier than using an attorney and WAY cheaper.
You can do wills, trademarks, pre-nups, copyright, etc....
Fantastic company out of Cali.

my ex had a pre-nup
i had to log everything
we had my account , her account , and our account .
had to keep sales slips for everything to show whos money bought what. so in the event of a divorce you could say i bought that with my money its mine.
it takes the romance out of the marriage and makes it a business deal
there even a section in there that said married for 0-1 year i get xxx amount 2-5years x amount which is negotiable
due to cost of living etc...

There is no reason that you should not get one in this day and age, Actually, my feelings are that if you don't, you are a fool. Don't think for one second that s h i t can't turn bad, it does all the time. The prenup will state what each of you is entitled to so there isn't a big, expensive divorce proceeding. You might want to use a lawyer, the online forms can be usefull but you have to know what you are doing and what the options are/can be.
Good luck
Oh, remember that in the end it's just stuff, let her have it all, xcept the house, your car, business, boat, gym membership and your cash.Last edited by Hard Head; 12-22-2005 at 09:17 AM.
