Long distant relationships
So a few monthes ago my gf graduated and took a great job in Cali. Things have been a lot better than I could imagine surprisingly...I'm not complaining but I'm just wondering if anyone else has had succesful relationships living a LONG (2400 miles) ways away.

I am in 1. My GF lives on Long island and I am in CT. I know its only like 100 miles but there is still distance. I see her every weekend, I couldn't imagine being 2400 miles away.
Cheers to you

I've had two. neither of them worked out.
the only advantage to a long distance relationship is that it makes it easier to cheat on the broad in your own city.

If she is young and hot, somebody else will be poking it soon. Good luck. Long distance never works.

If she never calls you or you call her and she never answer then is time to move on because that's just basically saying one thing she's cheating on you or yet have forgotten about you.

I had one ( Miami to Orlando ), and it did not work. Actually, it was the worst relationship I've ever had.

I've only been out to Cali once since she's moved there 4 monthes ago but she's came home 3 times already and is getting in at 630am tomorrow. I'll be back out in Cali in Feb to re evaluate some shit...

It aint gona work unless you move closer together,a girl has 'needs' and so do you! Its just obvious whats gona happen....... eventually.....unless you got one in a million that is.
Good luck though bro, hope it works out for you.

if neither one of you plan on moveing to be togather i would cut it off and limit your conversations, dont talk evryday and see what the futuer brings, you never know you may end up back togather

I've been thinking about your post here. If she just moved away like it was no big deal how important is the relationship to her? You mean she couldnt have found a good job someplace closer? I wouldnt waste my time. And take it from experience bro, it's aright to move someplace w/ somebody if u know thats who ur gonna be w/ or are already married, but dont do it under any other circumstances. I have b4 and it just doesnt work out. Then your living someplace where u dont know anybody and ur starting all over from scratch. It will cost u alot of time and $$$.

I tried the distance thing, and in most cases it dosent work. If you are really both determined you can work it out. My best suggestion though bro, when it comes to arguments, let the small stuff go. save it when u are together, little arguments slowly break up the relationship. Hope it works out for ya

Long distance relationships can work but for the most part dont. I tried it a couple years ago with a girl I had been with for 2 years. Slowly contact with each other faded, and soon enough we were fighting on the phone. After that it was game over. It really sucked, cause I was always thinking what she was doing, but after a while I just focused on the gym and filling my time with stuff. I hope your situation works out bro, mine is just a bad example...

Me and my girl used to be 7 hours away, it made us stronger. She used to say distance makes the heart grow fonder.

it can work, but not very often and not for a long time, u need to decide whether its right for u to move out to her, or finish it, because u dont wna be stuck in a strange place if u move out there and it doesnt work.

yea we're still going out, she's talking about babies and such now im like whoaaaaaaa! But im gonna wait til i get into med school to pop the question we did long distance for 11 months we saw each other 4 times in those 11 months. It def. was hard, not gonna lie to you, and the temptation was there. I think you need to ask yourself if you plan on being with her forever... if not, then get out now! No use suffering through the hell of not seing each other.
