    What do you think of this powerlifting bench video clip? Its painful...

    I can't tell what happened but I bet he said "Ouch!"

    It is too far away and a bad angles but it looks like it slipped off his hands to me.

    the spotters were useless.... if they were paying attention this never would've happened. it was too heavy and he could not hold the negative. I saw this on TV a long time ago - he walked away from it with no significant injuries

    It looks like he had a "thumbs over" grip on the bar, and it was just too much weight.

    it just slipped off his hand when he was pushin back up. i also saw it on tv and he ruptured his spleen he didnt walk away injury free.

    Wow, all that psyching up, eating crap, carrying a gut around 24/7, 365 like a pregnant woman, just for that. Powerlifting has never impressed me too much. If it's your thing then thats cool, but it has never appealed to me. I got a buddy who powerlifts, strong guy until you take away his equipment and bench shirt, then he's ****ing with the big dogs.
