    Tv Ads: Exercise Equipment

    Has anyone tried to order this exercise equipments that they advertise on tv such as the bowflex, abslide,bodyrev etc? If so... did it actually work as it advertise on tv? Or is it just a false propaganda?

    bowflex isnt going to make you look like the guys that promote it, my parents have one at the house..but i dont mind using it once in awhile if i'm cutting or keeping my reps my higher, not worth the $$$ IMO..for the money you spend on that you could get a really nice workout station at your own house

    ...and how do they advertise them on tv? Any excercise is beneficial. Im sure they are great for toning up but not in a sense that a bodybuilder might feel is beneficial.

    If you are a 100 lb woman looking to tone im sure the bowflex would help acheive that goal.

    If you are a 250 lb man looking to put on some solid mass then I don't see why he would purchase one.

    Or maybe I am just spreading some more false propaganda...

    Those machines, esp the ones designed to work your abs are loads of crap! Just get a barbell set and keep it in the garage

    my girlfriends dad bought her a bowflex after she cleaned up and started training again. she has NEVER used the bowflex but she has a t-shirt she got with it that she wears at the gym sometimes that says "This is a Bowflex body"
