I know there are 7 calories per gram of alcohol.
Light beer ranges from 98 to 136 calories.
Generally- 1-1/2oz.(jigger) of whiskey, rum, vodka, tequila, etc. will get you 97 calories give or take a couple depending on which liquor.
If your thinking of liqueur your looking at about 160 calories a jigger
It is one of the 4 basic food groups :DQuote:

How much alcohol is in a serving?
A standard serving of beer, distilled spirits, or wine each contains the same amount of alcohol. It is important to know this fact so you can plan to drink responsibly. The following count as one drink:
12 ounces of regular beer (150 calories)
5 ounces of wine (100 calories)
1.5 ounces of 80 proof distilled spirits (100 calories)
