****ing people just cant be professional

Well the last few hours were interesting. If you guys didnt see my first thread here it is http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=220611

So I go to work right, and seriously hurt my back AGAIN just putting on my damn boots. I must have bent awkwardly or something. I couldnt even bend over a few inches after that, couldnt even tie my right boot and it was torchure getting into my car after that and the 20 min ride seemed like 2 hours. I talked to the boss and told him I was leaving and would be off a few days. So I go straight to the doctor after my 30 mintues at work which was mostly spent filling out worker's compensation forms. The doc walks in the room and the convo went like this

Doc: whats the problem?
Me: my back I hurt it at work and I can barely sit down.
Doc: You seem to be sitting down just fine.
Me: sure but it hurts like hell, I can't stand on my feet the whole day you know.
Doc: well let's see.
*takes 15 seconds to check my side to side movement, and NOT forward motion.
Doc: you seem to have full motion.
Me: Yea, but its not my obliques that are the problem its my lower mid back, I can't even bend a few inches.
*Doctor pretends not to hear me.
Doc: well theres nothing I can really give you for this
Me: What about the anti inflamitories the doctor prescribed me the last time I seen a doc here the last time I hurt my back.
*Pretends again not to hear me.
Doc: I'll send you for x-rays and if I find anything maybe I'll call you.
(MAYBE?! WTF?!)
Me: Can I at least get a note then.
Doc: What do you need a note for?
Me: my boss, I came here straight from work.
Doc: fine then.
(apparently doing any actual work and taking care of his patients is not this doctor's strong point. It's no wonder he's the walk in doctor.)
Doc: Here, have a nice evening.
*I read over the note, it says 1 DAY! theres no way that'll be enough time for me to heal. The last doc gave me a week and I wasn't hurt half as bad. He didnt even ask what kind of work I do. I'm a welder and I do heavy lifting most of the day, I think that should be taken into consideration before he decides I'll be ready for work in one day. I dont work at a ****ing desk for **** sakes.
Me: Keep the damn note I'm going to a different doctor.
*He looks shocked as I leave.

I went for the xrays anyways (even though I know its a muscle problem and is just a big waste of time) and the two women there yammer away about their problems and how busy it is when I'm the only one I see in this big building with many other stores the entire 45 minutes I'm there. This goes for about 10 minutes while I'm standing right in front of them with my form. They dont even awknoledge I'm there! I'm standing 2 mother ****ing feet in front of you!

Then the phone rings and one of them picks up. The other stands there staring at the other while she talks for a good 5 mintues. Doesnt even look at me!
*She hangs up
bitch 1: "oh we're going to Florida!"
bitch 2: "oh nice!"
me: I'm soooo sorry to inturrupt but I need these x-rays done and I'll be out of your hair right away.
*bitch 1 and 2 sequentually give me a dirty stare down for ruining their dog ****ing they had going.

So they tell me to change, which I do so in much pain. And when I get out they're talking again except this time they're standing in the x-ray room while I stand beside them half naked listening to them bitch about maintenince they have to do to the x-ray machine, again ignoring me for a good 6 or 7 mintues.

At this point I've given up on the human race as a whole so I just stand there and try not to lose it and look at the floor. When the ****ing chickens finally shut the hell up and started doing something it was done in a quarter of the time it took them for me to watch them talk. No wonder they've been so busy! It takes them 45 minutes to do 10 minutes work!


So anyways I went to a different doc who was much more helpful than the first asshole. He tells me physio is necessary so I'm going to talk to them tomorrow morning and see if it's covered by the gov't or anything. I'm burnt out. Usually the gym is my anger outlet for shit like this but now that I wont even have that for alittle while I'm thinking about just taking an oozy and shooting up a doctors office and x-ray clinic. whatd you guys think?

I am not a big fan of doctors.
Years back I got Sarcoi (dont know how to spell it), its scaring of the lunges. If it goes untreated it can become a problem.
A few years after it was fully fixed, I got a breathing problem. I was concerned it was the same shit again so I went to the doctor. Not the same as the first.
Me: Doc, I am having some breathing problems and I had Sarcoi so I am concerned and would like to check to see if it reacurred.
Doc: You need to meditate.
Me: I repeat, I had sarcoi and would like to check to make sure its not back.
Doc: you need to do some easter mediation.
Me: I dont need a ***ing yoga teacher, I need a damn doctor. Are you going to help me or do I need to find someone else.

He looks shocked but sees that I am pissed.
He takes me to get an EKG.
I have to tell him again that I want to check for Sarcoi.
He starts his bullshit again and I tell him to **ck off and leave.

Up until last month I worked around doctors everyday. After hearing and seeing some of the shiat that I did, I will never trust a doctor again. Always get a second opinion and never hesitate to ask questions. Doesn't matter if it offends them or not. Good luck with your back bro.

Saw my primary care Doc the other day and told him I was on a cycle, what I was taking and such and he says "I'm not familiar with that stuff." Well WTF? I went to law school for a measly 3 years and I'm at least familiar with every facet of American law.

thanks guys I appreciate it. I was pretty depressed about the whole thing yesterday when I wrote that. my back still hurts but at least my mood is alittle better. I'm going for a massage right now and the chiro after then pyhsio on thursday.

Acually this is the first problem I've had with doctors in awhile. This is a very good clinic I go to. I get very helpful doctors who bend over backwards to accomidate me and are very friendly. I just happened to get an asshole this time. It does make me wanna go somewhere else in case I get him again but I know I'm not going to find anything better around here. I just wish my regular doctor wasn't always booked 1-2 weeks in advance. The x-ray techs are always lazy whores though no matter where I go.
